I have a classic 250 in solar mode that is rebooting as soon as the wait countdown finishes...
It is stuck in a cycle like this.

Here is a video of my problem.

Any suggestions?

It was a bit hard to see exactly what is happening in the video but it's definitely a power reset because
the LCD goes dark and every thing starts from scratch.

When it finally counts to zero, do you hear the relay click right when it resets ?  Could this be happening
right when it starts to turn on and charge?

Also, what is the battery voltage ?  I could not read that on the LCD.  If the voltage is right at around 8 or 9 volts
it could mean that there is a bad battery plus or minus connection.

Has this Classic ever worked for you ?  It could be that it is just defective some how ?
Is there anything connected to the Aux connectors ?  It they are operating into a short, it might
also cause this reboot behavior.

If it hasn't worked before, make sure the battery connections are tight.

Hey bob,

Thanks for responding to my question.

The relay does click and instantly the classic resets.

All connections are nice and tight.

Battery voltage is at 51.6 vdc

This classic has worked for about a month without any problems.

It is connected to a 3600 watt array with a voc of about 145 vdc.

I am not using the aux connectors.

thanks,   Pechan

OKay...  Sounds like you have done things correctly.  You should either call or better yet, email
Mat  tomorrow or right now and explain this so they can fix you up.

You may want to refer to this posting too. Won't hurt.

Thanks Pechan and really sorry for the inconvenience !

Thank you Bob, Will do.
I am the happy owner of 9 midnite classics and this is the first problem that I have encountered.
