Title: Raspberry Pi
Post by: rosebudd on September 21, 2012, 10:00:47 PM
Hi folks,

Just got one of those new microcontrollers, called Raspberry Pi, up and running. Uses ~2 watts and a Linux O/S.

I think it can load Modbus....maybe talk to a Classic?
More winter projects.

Anyone on the forum using one?

I'm not positive I remember correctly but I believe he has been doing just what you are talking about
and with the Raspberry Pi system.   He has been doing some very neat modbus stuff at least.

You two might be able to help each other.  This Raspberry Pi thing sounds interesting to me as well.
Very interested in playing with one of these since they may be useful in general for modbus and other
communications stuff.
