Try putting the unit in Solar 2 mode since your PV VOC is close to the battery voltage, depending on the amount of light on the panels you might not have enough power to run the regular Solar mode.

I read above post ,Found the mode & solar2 , I will try & see , for winter . Im 110Vdc panel over 48Vdc cells.Winter can be gray .

Thanks for the input Mario! Up until now I had been wiring up my four 165 watt 23 voc solar modules in 2x2 series/parallel - the way I did it with my old PWM charge controller. I wired them all up in series and now it works!

Panels are 12V with a VOC of 23Vdc , four in series 92Vdc VOC is still in a good voltage .
You should try solar mppt  and see on cloudy days if solar 2 mode harvests different . Thats what Im doing .
Im still 3 series one string My VOC is 43Vdc  36.6Vdc  VMP
Time will tell , week of cloudy weather & a break of 30c days.

ust installed my new Kid yesterday, it worked great until i played around with it and now it seems to be stuck in resting mode. I tried doing a factory reset but still no luck. Hooked up to 2-100 watt (21 Voc) panels in series for now. I tried the left arrow and tapping the enter button but no number pops up for the code as to why its resting. I lost sleep over this last night!!!

So have you called in to tech support? If not can you tell me what battery voltage you are trying to charge?
