I have replaced my Aussie made Inverter-charger (Solar Energy Australia) with a Outback-Power VFX3024E..the only foreign parts is the solar panels and mounting frames..the rest is from Washington state and Canada.
I have a chuckle with the Outback Mate it says G'Day on power up
Robin & Bob thanks for the good efforts in Outback -Power and Midnite-Solar :)
we used to have a lot of fun with the Aussie thing. We didn't have to dress up.

Do you have to dress up now?
No we certainly don't dress up. I embarress my wife when I wear my $6.00 Wallmart plastic shoes. They are the most comfortable sandles I have.
Since the OutBack products are now being built in India, I wonder if they will change the boot up display to something like: Hello Saheeb, it is written that you will be having a most glorious day.

Oh, my, my, my, my, my ...... (said with an accent) ;) ;)
I can see it now Outback Power changes name to Punjab Power :)
the Mate will be changed to a Lackie :)
Coming to a 7-Eleven near you soon....Outback products & tech support with every slurpee purchase...:)
It appears I snagged one of the last VFX3524 inverters to be assembled at the original Arlington factory. Top one in the pic, 3Q 2011 and the lower one from the Bellingham Alpha factory from 4Q 2011. The Bellingham unit has dates inside from mid 2011 so it seems it was put together with inventory from Arlington after the move North.
Oh sheesh, U guyz
Be nice.
I am very very grateful for the most excellence of my
joyous outback inverter. Gladly it is still sitting in it's
most happy of boxes.
CPM, that was great!
