Title: Global Eq?
Post by: Rob Linschoten on February 21, 2022, 05:07:17 PM
Could not find a reference in the manual (which is not to say it isn't there!) but is it possible for System Master to initiate a global Eq command the way to does Absorb and Float?  Right now I have to manually initiate EQ on 4 separate controllers. I know, I know, life is hard....

I have not tried auto-eq because I want to be around for the process (using sealed Lead-Carbon batteries, so no room for error)

Cheers

Rob

You mean using "Follow Me"  ?

That should just work by starting an EQ I think from one of the controllers.

You're right Bob.
One just need to start manually an Eq on the master classic and the slave will follow (with follow me enable).
I saw this last month after 5 years without equalizing.

Cool, I'll give it a shot.

Have now gone 4 days without the genset. It may still be winter here, but the sun is back....

Thanks.

Yep, works just fine.

I had taken the last follow-me cable out (the one from slave CC#3 back to the master) to do some testing (separate thread) and once I put it back in, EQ worked.

Thank you
