Post by: FNG on June 09, 2021, 01:59:11 PM
We got board this AM and decided to see what happens to a Square D breaker with DC on it, We also tested 2 Midnite DC breakers well above the rating

Yes, it was good.

Would like to see it using a 300V DC breaker.   I bet that works fine.

Another  good test might be be to wire a polarized DC breaker up backwards.  They don't work as well backwards

I know I need to get a higher rated breaker but right now I am using one of those 150v mnepv breakers on my 240v dc direct dc water heater . Nothing has cooked yet.

Photonic Induction is back and I am just now watching him try to blow a 5000 amp fuse .
