Title: Internet of things low data rate monitoring
Post by: phonetic on December 02, 2015, 06:30:28 PM
In Au we are looking at having a overlay 3G network for internet of things (IofT), will offer low cost, low bit rate & monthly data quota of few megabytes.
Is Midnite solar looking to leverage on such a network ??
I think its a idea Midnite solar should explore ??

The new mymidnite2 protocol which is incorporated into the latest changes uses about 291kBytes per day. This is around 10MB per month. I'm not sure if this is low enough to meet the service but it would definitely be something to strive for.
