Title: Conext 2524 + epanel + conext ac switch gear
Post by: jmarc on December 07, 2016, 02:06:44 AM
With the mne175sw epanel and Conext 2524 inverter connected together, would i still be able to mount the conext ac switch gear to the bottom of the epanel and inverter?

I was looking to add an ac bypass for the setup but i read in the instruction manual not mix ac and dc wiring. Sorry not sure what the best practices are.

Well if you use the E-Panel you can add the bypass directly inside that and have the benefit of a single box. As for mixing AC and DC thats a non issue. 2 reasons a lot of people say not to do it, A- A lot of times people use cheap welding cable or such for DC and it does not carry a voltage rating like regular wire so it wouldn't pass inspection and B- People worry the person doing the wiring will get the AC connected to the DC some how
