Title: Bat temp Sensor on status screen
Post by: Mgallo on March 26, 2013, 06:58:46 PM
Hello,
I find I am looking at the battery temp a lot. It  is great that we can do this on the MNGP,  but would it at all be possible to have the Battery temp displayed on the main status screen so we don't always have to scroll through the menus etc. Not that I am lazzy, just tired of scrolling, he he he.  It just need the basic, Btemp:25 for example, and obviously only if a temps sensor is connected, and should also work with the follow-me.  I am not sure how complicated or time consuming to add this feature, or if there is even room on the main status screen.

Cheers
Michele

This could be done.

I think that if the battery temp sensor is plugged in (the Classic knows this) then it could be
selected to periodically display the battery temperature where you see the charging stage
messages at the bottom right of the main status screen.

In fact, other things could also be selected to be displayed in rotation on that text line.

Not the highest priority for this week but it's going on the list.

Sounds good to me, can't wait to see it happen one day soon.
It is nice to see you guys try to listen to some of our strange suggestions.
Cheers

Well, at least the "set time and date" message only shows up for the first 1/2 hour or so now.
