During the creating account procedure, after copying litteraly the values shown on the MNGP screen for the Mac Address and the device ID (remember to put the ":" and the spaces), then you hit the "Create new account" button AND, ...... You are redirected to https://mymidnite.com .

Well, the screen says that you can download the LocalApp, and you think all that for just that !!

But i you are curious, you go back to the form with your browser Back button and you see a message which says "go to your mailbox to find the information on your registration".

So the redirection to https://MyMidnite.com, after the form completion is something unecessary.

Seen with the latest version of Google Chrome.

He is out of internet range until Friday I believe.

That's probably why he hasn't fixed it yet.

I am getting this message when I copy and paste the values on my classic 150 lite. The values you have entered are not a valid MAC/Device ID combination. Any idea why?

If you are getting the mac and id values from the local app then there may be a problem. The local app seems with some classics to get one digit of the id wrong. My classic lite was 200BA94A but the app displayed 200AA94A.
Since there is no alternative to using the local app with a Lite then its difficult to see if this is the problem.
I had to download a free modbus reader for my ipad from GSI Modtest. In the comm setup put ip number of Classic, device id 10, start address 4100 and #registers 120 then send poll. Pressing done shows register values on screen. the registers 04106 to 08
have the mac address and 04110 to 1 the ID in the Hex list.  Note the registers read in downwards order so my Classic id starts
in 04111 with 200B then 04110 with A94A

register           decimal          Hex
...
04106                9879          2697
04107                3840          0f00
04108               24605         601d
...
04110               43338         a94a
04111                8204          200b
...

Note the wrong ID displayed by my local app   >:(

BTW, I hope you don't have this problem and you have just made a typo.  :P

Yes I have seen the Local App be off like that on a few of mine to. Best to go direct to the classic and copy it from the network section. If it happens to be a Lite then PM me the serial # and I will get the info from the production database.

I think I made it mad!

I set up an account and can log in and out, I added a picture to see if that would make it happy, but when I sign in I get this.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in msdifc_user_view() (line 1531 of /mnt/stor7-wc2-dfw1/528910/www.mymidnite.com/web/content/drupal-7.22/sites/all/modules/msdifc/msdifc.module).

"invalid argument" if the computer starts that after the wife has been using it forever, I may need a tall bridge.

The picture is there in a empty box.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Wade

Hi, Wade.
That seems like it didn't register your Classic properly.
Can I ask you for your device ID and which browser/version you are using?

I'll fix the database and see if I can lock down your error.

Thanks!

Andrew,

I'm using windows 7 home premium.

As far as device ID it could be one of 2, I tried both and it didn't like the MAC on one so I can't remember which one it finally accepted.
BE92 455  or 10DE 2202

If that doesn't help maybe we could just kill that account and start over.

Thanks
Wade

I think I got Wade squared away and I found the bug.

If anyone sees the "invalid index" message, please let me know as well as your device IDs and I will update the database manually.

How do I remove a device, Classic, from a system?   I can see how to remove a system but not a device.

I just go to configuration in the main list and remove the IP address.

At the moment there is no way to remove a device. This is because you need a device to have an account. There is a device "graveyard" feature on the TODO list to remove devices from your account.
