Hi boB,
I was out of town for a while, and now I am back and starting to get motivated to start to tear down my existing wind turbine system and start setting up my new Classic controlled system.
My "homemade Clipper" will use the Crydom 3 phase SSR to divert to a 3 phase heater box. You once mentioned the need for 3 power resitors (1.0 Ohm) on the 3 phase SSR.
Can you please give more details on why (and how) those resistors need to be set up? Any other important specs on those resistors I need to know?
I was assuming that with my 3 phase heater box, I would not need any additional resistors. I thought perhaps those 3 resistors you mentioned might only be needed in the case of using the SSR to short out the 3 phase AC output, but then again I do not understand the purpose of the 3 power resistors you mentioned.
Want to try to make sure that I get everything set up right the first time!
Thanks!
Edward
