Post by: mahendra on June 23, 2013, 06:36:08 PM
hi i recently bought some spds from naws ,4 spd 300 and 1 spd 115 all were sealed in their boxes, but when i opend the spd 115 it had no seal does this void my warranty?Since i don't think its a re seller fault .

Ryan told me they had a run of SPD's without seals. I got some myself from the same source. Supposedly not a problem.

Maybe one of the Midnite guys will clarify this. I doubt they would nit pick about the seal on a warranty replacement.

Yes Tom is correct. There was a fair amount that went out with out a seal. The seal has nothing to do with warranty etc. It was supposed to be to keep people from opening them and getting hurt but in reality the silicone seal is so tuff I am not sure one could open one without special tools so we did not worry to much about it.
