Title: Remote start a Generac 22kw Quietsource generator
Post by: SolarMusher on July 15, 2013, 06:46:19 PM
Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to remote start a Generac 22kw QuietSource (QT02224ANAX) standby generator from a Magnum AGS. Magnum has helpful documentation (wiring diagrams) on how to do it, except that this could apply only to three kinds of Nexus Controllers and mine is a new one (0H7668D) :'(. As usual, Generac is not very helpful. I've read that it could be done using a relay which would break voltage on L1 and L2 (grid).
I'm wondering what kind of relay I could use to make this job and how it could work using a signal from a Magnum AGS?
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Erik
