Title: Bergey XL.1 48V Classic Wind Curve
Post by: keyturbocars on March 14, 2011, 02:58:15 AM
I was wondering who created the Classic wind curve for the Bergey XL.1 48V wind turbine?

What was the process they used to determine the optimal curve for the Bergey?

I've been tweaking my Classic wind curve, and I was looking at the Bergey XL.1 curve and was curious how it was optimized.

I used to do some car tuning with a laptop.  I was such a nerd about it that I'd spend hours testing and optimizing fuel injector pulse width & ignition timing curves and other parameters.  I actually found it enjoyable to be able to tweak and optimize to maximize performance.  I am trying to do something similar with my Classic and HY-2000 turbine.

I guess I'm trying to use my Classic to hotrod my HY-2000 turbine!  :)
