hi was trying to set classic to end absorb cycle based on ea ,however noticed that absorb cycle was ending too early.Been testing for a few weeks. After discovery i noticed that battery voltage would be 12.6 instead of my normal 12.7 in the morning (i rarely use my system in the night only when the sun is out/grid power outage for short periods in the night ).Can this cause cause the battery to be damaged. Please advise .My batteries are just 10 months from date of purchase.i normally only use light to moderate loads.
Well, not sure what is going on but the EA must be set to a value that you are sure is going to be
low enough... Set it too high of EA current and it will end Absorb too early.
Also, if you have the Classic firmware that has minimum and maximum Absorb times, the Classic
may only absorb for the minimum time and you will want to raise that time more than likely.
12.6 vs. 12.7 volts is nothing to worry about. The battery voltage can be a lot of different
values depending on loads and how long since charge and temperature, etc.
