Hi Folks,
So with a bit of luck I hope to have my wiring completed this weekend. We have a 15' axial -finally up- and two Classic 250's. I've generally been following Ryan's lead on his neighbor's original layout.

We have separate rectifier inputs and protection for each unit.
We are first load diverting on the DC side, preheating water (we're currently do this with our PV now). I'd anticipated this would be controlled via Aux2.
In the rectifier box are two SS relays. The first is our 'clipper'. I'd assumed this to be controlled via Aux1. The second is a hi-limit controlled by an Omron voltage sensing relay, independent of the Classics'. The hi-limit is a fail-safe, but is configured to disconnect from the Classic's and simultaneously close in the clipper relay.
I wondered if you could explain a bit more on the best Classic and Aux settings for this application:
Am I correct that you are/were using PV trigger +
I assume you are connecting and programming only one Classic for the Aux assigned to the clipper
Do you recommend "Follow Me"
Lastly, I was originally planning to use the Aux1 on the diversion load and the PWM Aux2 on the clipper, but seems folks have done both, and lately I was thinking perhaps they should be switched. Any thoughts?
Thanks for any help.
