Title: Bipolar array and positive grounding system and bipolar battery bank
Post by: ibeweagle on February 25, 2014, 10:56:39 AM
Does anyone have experience on positive ground system? or bipolar arrays would like to experiment with two classics on bipolar array and one battery bank bipolar 48 volt  will have to fuse ex. with low amp fuses in case it wants to let the smoke out! Will use three classsics two to balance out bipolar 48volts (+24-+24-) and one on 48 volts total will have to isolate classics with positive ground with plastic pipping and such so isolated ground and yes USB is positive so battery PC to program thanks Cheers Mike Johnson P.S. will draw up schematic

Yes I think I see smoke but please do share a schematic and I will look at it.

ibeweagle;

I saw "Bipolar" and immediately thought it would behave badly eventually :D :o.

I am certain Ryan can help you sort it out he has tried more "interesting" stuff with Classics than any 3 other people!.

Well think might see smoke so another route ? two battery banks one 24 and one 48 separated  Two classics on 48 bank and one to do dc to dc conversion from 48 volt bank input to 24 output in Hydro mode maybe from 48 volt bank input? might be more better ha-ha than bipolar :o ;D :-X :-* :'( ::)
