Title: Newbie Classic 150 Lite question regarding setting Advanced Config
Post by: KozmoK on March 27, 2014, 10:57:54 AM
Hello,

Thanks for reading this.

I am trying to set the Battery Status Meter settings on the advanced Tab.

What is Efficiency (%) - I have 4 AGM totally 580ah

I set Capacity to 580

and Compensation to 0% /c

Could someone tell me what Efficiency % is and probably what I need to set it for? and Compensation too :)

Efficiency is a number to tell the SOC % meter how many amp-hours into the battery to actually
count towards amp-hours charged.

This number should typically be around  95%  or so.   97%   should work OK but each
battery is slightly different.   I would drop that 97% down to around 95% instead
but either way will be fairly close.

If you drop it down to 95% or 94% then you will be erroring on the safe side.
