Title: MidNite fever hits Australia
Post by: DMJ72 on April 02, 2014, 09:22:32 PM
One of the fellows I follow on Youtube just got a Classic 250, and posted a video :

Its hilarious when he comes to the part where he describes the consequences from the Wife at the end (warning Audio is NSFW). I hope none of us have to go through that!  LOL  :D

Yeah, the days since charged led stopped working. He since has gotten it replaced. In a follow up video, he goes into why the word Whizbang is not a good name for a product in Australia!  8) Interesting.

Considering the quality of MS products I would go with this definition I found for Whizbang:

One that is conspicuously effective, successful, or skillful.  :)

Midnite fever is obviously contagious. It was just a matter of time.

Just posted a comment on Justin's Follow me video about that right hand side Classic's blue LED staying on longer than the right side blue LED which may mean that one of his follow me cables is backwards or not making a good connection.

Yes, but then his LCD started screwing up.   I hope I gave him enough info to fix that too as a comment on this video.
The routing of the phone cable from MNGP to Classic can sometimes induce noise into the circuit but moving it out of the way will typically fix it.  If that doesn't work, a ferrite toroid around that cable should fix it.
This has something to do with some kind of modification the LCD company made but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Seems like the display is fixed as per your instructions BoB!

In the recent videos, the makers of the other charge controller don't seem to be pleased at the performance #s it has been harvesting vs. the Classics.

I hope they don't sue him!

Well it looks like the ratio is MC Classic @ 2Kwh vs No Name @ 1Kwh for output
