Title: Grid Support Voltage Setting Question
Post by: Emerald Power on April 08, 2014, 07:15:28 PM
Hey All,

Now that my controller problem is solved and I can get accurate readings, I have a question about Grid Support Voltage. My XW4548 inverter is capable of
3500 watts of sell to the grid. The controller is maxed out at 60 amps, so I am only getting about 3250 watts. The default Grid Support Voltage setting is 54 volts. If I increase this to 56 volts, the output wattage goes up just over a 100 more. A hundred watts over my 10 hour day is another kwh I can put in the Net Bank. All seems to be working well. My batteries are cold and not gassing, and the aux is not triggering the vent fan at 57 volts.
Should I have any concerns?
