Title: Classic 150 with an Outback Radian GS4048A
Post by: Raj174 on August 24, 2014, 11:07:39 PM
Will the Classic 150 work with a Radian GS4048A? That is, will the lack of communication between them inhibit the functionality of nether device?

Nope.  Shouldn't be any problem.  Sometimes if the inverter has ran through a full charge and absorb cycle and the classic is still absorbing, your batteries will get more charge time but that's about it.  You typically want to charge with renewables rather than grid or generator anyway.

I am not sure how well the outback stuff communicates regarding this either.  It might not be any better unless they have done some more work lately.

Thanks boB, I'm looking to use the GridZero or the MiniGrid mode.
Thanks again for the info and quick response.
