I've seen this on Alibaba, labeled Mppt Tracer Solar Charge Controller FLEXmax MPPT80A
for $328.22 US

or these 2? No shame here...

Ya, I saw Morningstar knock offs too as well as Tristar and probably Stecca, all on Alibaba with a search for '' MPPT charge controller ''

Those are/appear to be OUTBACK clones. ::)

Midnite Controllers are ALL made at their factory in Arlington, Washington...U.S.A. :)

I've been there and had the pleasure of a 10 Cent guided tour by boB. :) Personally witnessed the manufacturing and assembly of numerous Midnite products including of course the Classic and KID.

The ad even calls them OUTBACK. Look closely at the pics..
Top one is FangPusun make but look at the bottom ones...

boB has a few comments about them in a thread over at the NAWS forum. Including Outback supposedly not being aware of them after boB gave them a heads up.

I saw a price mentioned in one of the posts, the lowest price I remember was US $275 +-....going down.

My bad, I read it at night, saw oval black case, and didn't notice the missing coin slot bump. :-[
