Today one of my two classic 150's is showing (9:Negative Current) It changes back to float for a little while every now and then but then back to (9:Negative Current)
The other classic is in float .
The battery voltage is sitting on float Voltage and it isn't taking very much to keep them there 30w or so (must be very little inverter loads on the house at the moment.
Just wanted to know what the resting ..(9:Negative Current) was describing?
Seems to have gone away now and both controllers are idling along in float.

logic tells me to investigate, why did one do it and not the other...?? something failing or a momentary WHAAAA???
The Classic was putting a bit of current out of the PV terminals.
You do have separate arrays, right ?
Not a big deal as long as it eventually clears itself as it did.
It can be changed somewhat but I wouldn't worry about it since it is set for
quite a low amperage of reverse current. This makes sense that it happened
in Float because the Classic has to raise the PV input voltage more near Voc.
It may also mean that the PV panels got warmer and their Voc went down some since
its last Resting and Voc measurement.

Yes I have two separate arrays and two classic 150's. It happened just after the classics switched to float and it was taking some time for the (absorb) surface charge to burn off the battery . So the controllers where just sitting there ready to charge again once the voltage dropped enough to require there input to maintain float V.
