I have purchased 4, Trace T-235 platinum 6 volt batteries. These will be configured into 12v strings. Trace International was unable to provided me with charging specifications so I can configure my Classic 150. Perhaps I was unable to properly ask the question.
I discovered some information on page 60 of the Classic owners manual. Titled "Battery voltage and time settings", it contains charging voltages and times for the various charge stages for a variety of battery types.
The matrix shows AGM, sealed 1 & 2, Gel, Flooded 1, 2, & 3 and other. The values shown are Absorb, Float, & Equalize voltage, Absorb min/max time, EQ time & EQ interval in days. For flooded the values are;
1-14.6, 13.5, 15.3, 30/120, 28
2-14.7, 13.5, 15.4, 30/120, 28
3-15.5, 13.4, 16.0, 30/180, 14
Does this show me that there are basically 3 types of flooded batteries? I was able to get someone to take the page to Trace in Santiago. They said to use the values for flooded 2 so I am starting with that.
The values listed in this matrix for Flooded 3 are close to those on the Interstate instructions for the GC2 batteries we have on another installation, but not exact.
How were the values in the matrix derived?

Those battery setpoints are just common ones that are often seen for lead acid batteries. But you may want to tweak things depending on the variables of your system.
There are different ways to terminate the Absorption - by time as these setting will do - or if you have the Whizbang Jr and shunt installed you can figure out the ending amps and terminate it that way. Both methods it is a good idea to check the specific gravity of the battery cells to make sure they are getting fully charged with whatever method you use.
