Title: Classic Lite 200 - not responding in network, but is there
Post by: binkino on July 29, 2015, 06:52:04 PM
Once again, I can not get connection to the Classic.
This happens all couples weeks.

Network cable is ok, LEDs at the switch are on (=connect)
the Midnite is listet in the FritzBox,
but I can not connect via LocalStatusPanel or the "Classic" Android App.
Also a 'ping' will not replied.

Have also reset FB, Switch, Apps on Android ...

Only way to get it back in race, to switch off the complete system.
Yeah makes me happy ... great ... and lose all datas - once again ... cool.
No 'watchdog' or what ever inside ...

Use the NEW DAY function on the Classic to write the data before powering off. Or are you using Lites?

New Day will write the day data to the EPROM. It acts just like a 23:59 function except the time shown will be the time of the write. The data resets at that point and there will be second entry for the time period between the New Day and 23:59. So if you are looking for the total for the day you would have to add the two together. But you do no lose the data if you do this before a power off.

Look at boB's post here http://midnitesolar.com/Forum/index.php?topic=2111.msg19762#msg19762 (http://midnitesolar.com/Forum/index.php?topic=2111.msg19762#msg19762)

If you don't want it to reboot at this time then do not have it set for A-RST at midnight.
