As the topic says I want to find out if my new classic has the "REV 1933" firmware released on the 1-8-2015. My got my classic 150 the other day with the paperwork saying it was completed on the 4-1-2015, I Assume this means built on the 1st of April 2015 being from America.
So basically is there a menu in the classic that allows me to see the firmware versions of both the classic and the MNGP, if so how do I access them?
Rather not update if not needed.
Hi finalman,
YES, on the Main status page, if press the left small diameter white navigation button, you will page through the various status screens. After five or six pushes of this button you should reach the page with the Classic FW version number, and that of the MNGP, if it is a standard Classic.
Also believe that if you are using the Local App, that it can be found there, somewhere ... I have not yet used the LA.
Vic
Yep found it. MNGP was fine Classic 150 was 1923. Updating now. Thanks Vic.
UPDATE: Updated the classic 150 but still says classic is version 1923.
Was the 1933 a MNGP update only?
fyi, the Classic and the MNGP have different numbers...
I believe the latest Classic is Firmware 1933 1/8/15 and the MNGP 1923 12/18/15 Classic and 1839 Net

Actually I think you've got the two mixed around but yeah after 2 firmware updates and no change I'm satisfied that 1923 is the classics latest firmware.
I would like to recommend that the most up to date firmware version details for the MNGP and Classic be added to the firmware section on the webpage aswell as instructions on how to find out the installed versions to save wasted updates as this information currently isn't there.
Yeah I had them reversed. The versions numbers are contained in the README.TXT that comes with the firmware
