The link for the new Classic 2050 - 8-5-15 is missing the /firmware/ part of the URL.
It would also be nice if someone posts to the fourm when new firmware is available.
Seems to be working now for most people.
so is this the version that has fixed the ethernet reliability problems? is there a list of fixes and additions?

These are the listed changes in the change log since the previous production firmware. Looks like there were a number of versions before this one was put out.
Hm the link works here? So the new improved networking stuff can not be released as production because the new My midnite site it talks to is not done. Sort of aggravating but that is the hold up now.

Could have been my poor internet connection at the lake. However when I went to the firmware link it did download on the same connection.
So does the new firmware report to the new MM2 web site ?? or only the OLD MM1??

I'll ask again on this midnight solar setup files for the firmware ? I looked in 2 of my CD's that came with the classics ,a good look on the midnight solar web site . I do not see what they are saying on the video or on the web pages of firmware & you must register.
Any hints ?

Well I opened the firmware of 18XX and they have the application file in there . I have been saving & storing firmwares but have not flashed one as of yet . Mine in use came with 1941 or close .. But I do have the screen flash Got Comms ? and the WB Jr battery percentage is there for only an eyewink .
