Title: Charging Batteries
Post by: svencool on August 16, 2015, 09:08:35 PM
Hello here is a line out of my battery manufacture charging guidelines,

Max Time (Hr) = Ahr x 1.2 / Avg. Current (A) - Voltage limit equal to "Absorption (Regulation) Stage" limits

So does the 1.2 mean they want 120% when recharging? My Tri-Metric sometimes will say 102 so I put in I guess 2% more once the battery is charged. How do I get to 120%

Manufacture wants these levels

Absorption
14.10V â€" 14.40V
Charge until change in current < 0.10A per Hr / Max Time: 12Hr Is there a way to set this parameter in the Classic?

Float Charge
13.44V â€" 13.56V

So I've set the classic Absorption to 14.4 and Float to 13.5
