Title: communication problem with ethernet and status panel application.
Post by: bafaro on September 09, 2015, 11:59:05 AM
For several days, my two classic 150 on the four I own, no longer communicate with status panel application. He also refused to take an IP address in DHCP mode, indicating an ethernet communication problem.
Last night I made the last update Firmware revision in 2056, despite this there is still no communication. I need your help.

Thank you.

Are all the Classics set to "STATIC"  rather than DYNAMIC mode?

Are the Classics hard wired to a switch and then a bridge or ?

Have you done a Factory /reset (VMM)?

every oven classic have a different static IP address. They were all in working for a long time without problems. oven are linked to the floor by a oven- port switch that is connected to the route located on the ground floor.
Yes I did a factory restart after updating as usual for all the updates.

Thanks

After turning off the power to the switch Internet connections, everything is back in order when I reconnected.

Bafaro, I don't understand...  A Factory reset involves shutting off  ALL the power to your Classic,  I turn off the PV and then the battery then turning the battery on first  and then the PV....   I don't understand how you would have had power to the switch, if that was the problem...  if you have a battery disconnect circuit breaker in the system...

My problem was the level of communication between the classic and the application for the status panel. As the Ethernet connection is made through a switch that is powered by electricity, so I thought disconnect and reconnect the cables for communication back.
