Title: error: error #3005 in Local App
Post by: dRdoS7 on October 04, 2015, 12:20:41 AM
Hi,

I just started getting this message today.

I had to update Air today, so it's obviously related.

I wouldn't have done an update, but I had to shutdown LA,  I can't remember why.

Then I got an update request message from AIR.

Now I get this message every so often, LA is a white, blank screen. When I try to clear the error, the screen slowly fades in on each click of "OK". Which has to clicked about 6, or so times

I'm using the last available Official FW on the Classic, and supposedly, the latest LA:

Firmware:
- Classic Rev: 1609
- Network Rev: 1597

Application Version 0.3.66

I'm running Win 7. LA has been running fine.

I can't find where Adobe has installed AIR, so can't check the version. I doesn't appear in "Programs" in Control Panel either.

Thanks,

I am behind!

What do you mean by "an 1800 series FW version"?

I think I haven't updated because it's been working. Apparently, since 2013.

Only problems have been with LocalApp, and then only when AIR needs to be updated. Though that may be a coincidence, due to having to stop LA to update it, then AIR gets a look in. NFI.

The later update had stuff for WBJr, and the new MM site, which I understood to be Beta. So, not that keen to change.

Now I may have to!

Hi,

While waiting for Adobe Flash to update, I realised it could be an Adobe AIR problem, not a LA problem.

I did a search for AIR errors, and found this: Error #3005: Insufficient system resources.

So, I've rebooted the PC that runs LA (and a couple of other full-time programs), and will see how it goes. It's probably been running for a few months without being touched, apart from yesterday.

Time to update it to Win 8.1-64, so it can access the other 4Gb RAM installed. Have to buy a proper NAS, so my file backups remain safe, and shares don't stop.

Thanks,

EDIT: Yes, it was an Adobe AIR error message.
