I am about to do an install of my Classic 200 (latest FW).
I was bench testing it to make sure everything is working and I noticed a blinking red LED.
Position is on a PCB somewhere under the Ethernet port.
I tried changing the LED mode settings and they have no effect on this LED.
As I write this, the LED has stopped flashing. I've not done anything, but my best guess is that my test battery just finished charging.
BTW - I'm not talking about the normal status LED that is at the top of the main PCB.
Does anyone know the LED is for?
if it is inside under the circuit board that is the Arc Fault board so the classic was seeing an arc or noise. Even without AF enabled the board will still sense them

Yes, the LED is under the main PCB. Barely visible deep below the Ethernet connector. Near the fans.
I had everything set up on a bench.
The PV input was from a power supply.
Battery was a small lead-acid.
Ethernet connected so that I could monitor from the Local App and from My Midnight.
I didn't play with any AF settings - so whatever the default is, that is what I had.
If the AF system was detecting an AF under these very controlled conditions - that seems like a very bad thing!?!
If noise, how can this be checked?
Any hints of what to look at before I commit to my install?
Feeding the PV inputs with a power supply is not a recommend test.
Yes most likely the classic sees the ripple or switching noise of the power supply as noise so I guess I would not worry to much about it until there is real PV connected to it
