Title: Classic 200 + Wind turbine resting / mppt and not charging
Post by: arturcongo on November 15, 2015, 10:35:41 AM
Hi , I am located in the DRC ners Lubumbashi and have a solar / wind system installed at one of our Mining sites .

I got an 48 volt 680 AH battery bank  with solar panels connected to an outback charge controller, this part is working nice.
The Wind turbine is a Krestel  e400 connected to a Midnite classic 200 with firmware ver. 2056. the currrect windcurve for the e400 is set. It is connected to the same battery bank.

The issue is now that even of the input voltage is higher than the battery voltage the status on the classic shows low lite .
About 80 volt it changes to mppt but only above 91 volt it is starting to charge .

do someone can direct me to solve this issue ?

Greetings from the center of Africa, Artur

About 80 volt it changes to mppt but only above 91 volt it is starting to charge .

How many amps & watts are showing when it goes into|MPPT and when it starts to charge?

it is early morning here and I am in BULK MPPT with 66 V (24V system) and 0.9A... it wont start to charge for another hour or so at best.
