Title: Found a SWEET wireless repeater/bridge
Post by: McHero on December 12, 2015, 03:00:36 AM
Mounted my Classic 200 Light in the electrical compartment in the left rear basement. Had never gotten around to running a cable from the front of the coach back to the electrical compartment. Currently I have to run a long Ethernet cable from the compartment, along the coach and in the drivers window up to the gigabit port on my Peplink router.

Was in Fry's Electronics this evening and ran across a EnGenus 300Mbps Wireless N range extender/client bridge. The box is about the size of a pack of cigarettes, Has power, Ethernet port (Ethernet patch cable included) power and reset switch. The sweet part of the whole setup is the device runs off of 12VDC!  I can just cut of the AC adapter & tap off my 12v battery bank!

Took me about 10 minutes to setup & now it's working like a champ.$19.99 after $10.00 rebate!

Will post some PICS on my web site & post some PICS.

Robert
