Title: charging battery bank
Post by: mark on August 03, 2011, 04:30:47 PM
Should I rotate the charging/inverter cables periodically to different battery posts?  Will this extend battery longevity?

You want to have the positive connected at one end of the battery bank and the negative at the other. That forces all the current to go through all the batteries. Do you have parallel strings?

This site  http://www.smartgauge.co.uk/batt_con.html  has a great explanation about how to hook up parallel banks of batteries on the "diagonal".
