Title: Why is there a blinking red light on my Classic display?????
Post by: Halfcrazy on August 22, 2011, 11:54:55 AM
The Blinking red light is a sign of communications between the display and the Classic. It should only appear when in Blinky mode and the Classic ships in Rick mode. We had a glitch in production where the guys where using there Display to program the Classics there for the Display's on the Classic's did not know they where suppose to be in Rick mode.

Rick Mode=No LED's unless there is a fault
LED1 Mode=LED's for Float, Current limit, Aux 1 or Aux 2
Blinky Mode=All 3 Classic LED's blink and the Red LED on the display blinks showing communications

To switch to Rick Mode or any other mode follow these steps. Push the Main Menu button (Bottom Right) 3 times then scroll to the right 4 times to highlight MISC (MNGP on older software) and press Enter. LED-MODE should be highlighted so press Enter. Use the up and down arrows to select a Mode and press Enter when you have made that selection. Now press Status to return to the main screen.
