Title: Auto EQ day counter stuck at 0
Post by: SolarMusher on April 09, 2016, 09:43:07 AM
Hi all,
Second auto EQ here on Classic:
First one was set to retry for 3 days and was still EQ'ing on the fourth day.
Yesterday, for test purpose, Classic auto was set to EQ for just one day and is still Eq'ing today with day counter stuck at 0 day.
In both cases, it has never reached EQ voltage because it was too cloudly.
Is there something that I don't understand with auto EQ or it just doesn't work as it should?
Thanks,
Erik

I'm on the last one, FW2079.
Is it working for you? Does your classic stop eq'ing after the number of days you've set?

I know there were bugs in the past for Equalizing but they were fixed in firmware updates.
So you are saying that on your system it seems like the Retry days is being ignored  if it doesn't reach the EQ setpoint for the EQ hours timer ?  Have you tested to see if  it comes out of Equalize if it reaches the EQ setpoint and hours  ?

Ok so I'm not lucky, on mine Retry days seems to be ignored each time that it starts and can't reach the EQ voltage when cloudly.
I will check it next time as I would like to be sure that it really stops after voltage and time has been reached.
But you confirm that it works for you?
Thanks Larry

Yes - I believe my auto equalization has been working. I did a new firmware update recently and not sure if that starts the counter over again so might be 30 days before I can check it again. But looking back on MyMidnite history online it looked like the last equalization was all okay and normal.
