Title: updateing firmware
Post by: len on September 15, 2011, 03:32:41 AM
Hi,
I have a classic 150 and I am trying to update the firmware, with no luck so far. My PC is running Vista so the info video screen shots are not the same. However I have got a Com port8 on my PC and have downloaded the firmware, but when we get to the black screen its says  uploading but the % stays at zero, then it flashes  a message after 11 seconds "Classic is not responding" can anyone help please?

I am on the road today but if you call the main number after 9:30 west coast time and ask for Mario he will fix you up.

Len's Classic has been updated successfully. One really IMPORTANT step that I discovered while Updating the classic here at the shop
With Vista (and possibly Windows 7) is that the Midnite Update has to be "Run as Administrator".
If not run in that mode the PC will not read the Classic even if it is configured in COM8

There will be a video showing Windows Vista step by step. Soon.
