Title: Multiple measurements off one shunt
Post by: asdex on July 31, 2016, 11:23:17 PM
Hi, having trouble finding info on this.
Can I take another current measurement from the same shunt the WBJr is connected to?
Cheers,

Hi asdex,

YES !!  Most instruments that use these 50 mV 500 A Shunts are fairly high impedance,  and that Shunt has a profoundly low impedance.

If that makes sense,  so to speak.   Good Luck,   Vic

yes , as the second / third  must use the 50 MV style of shunt .
use stand offs , I would have WBjr closest , then the the meters after that or further away from the shunt.
