At one time I was going thru the menus of the classic 150 and found an adjustable entry for battery AH size and efficiency. Around a month or so ago, I upgraded the Classic bios. Now, I can't seem to locate the Battery AH menu item.
I cracked open the 2056 manual and have not found these menu entries (page 85) although the manual does touch on setting the battery pack AH and efficiency on page 76. The vulcan-mind-meld was employed and I was not able to locate the fugitive menu items.
Any ideas where I can find these settings??
when doing an upgrade you have to wait for the computer to close the "DOS Command window'', What Version of WinDoze are you using?
I used Win 7.
I don't recall any problems with the upgrade and everything appears present except for these two menu items. Where should these items be?
In the local App they are in CONFIGURE / ADVANCED part way down the page after Temp Compensation.
These entries don't show up anywhere in the MNGP?
Hello BAndrews,
Here is a Link to the WBjr installation & Setup Manual:
http://www.midnitesolar.com/documents.php?productCat_ID=43&productCatName=Charge+Controllers+-+KID&model=MNWBJR&product_ID=519&act=
Click on the first Link, unless you need the German version.
Be certain that you have selected the WBjr in the Aux 2 Setup.
From the Main Status page on the MNGP, press the Status page navigation button three times, on the lower right of this page, press the right Soft Button, for " Setup ", this should allow the Ah Capacity of your battery to be set.
Aux 2 = WBjr may be the thing that enables additional WBjr setup ... dunno, have not tried setting up a WBjr without a WB, or without first setting Aux 2 = WBjr.
FWIW, Vic

Thanks Vic -- I'll check tomorrow when I make my daily journey to the solar shack. I just installed a WBJr a few weeks ago ......
B Andrews, were you getting WBjr data before, or was the FW version too old to work with the WBjr?
Easy way to fill out all the setpoints - including the Whizbang ones you are looking for is with the Local Status App. You can also save them with that and easily restore them after a firmware update.
I just was looking for them on MNGP - took me awhile but I remembered where they are now
Make sure Whizbang is setup on AUX2 and using shunt
Then use Status button to scroll through until you get to
Whizbang Junior Shunt
press right arrow under SETUP
You will see the things you are looking for to set up there

I upgraded the eprom so I could use the graphical software. I installed a WBJr a few weeks later IIRC. After the WBJr install, I was getting SOC readings on the MNGP (lower right hand). I thought I had seen the amp-hour settings in the normal menu prior to installing the WBJr.
