Title: Battery capacity temperature compensation Trojan L-16
Post by: Mechanicalbird on October 06, 2016, 02:53:35 PM
Hello,
Can anyone help me set the Battery Capacity temp comp on my Classic? I have Trojan L-16 batteries. Just not sure what % to set my classic to.

Thanks.

In the summertime, I keep my 12 L16 Trojans at -5 millivolts (25 deg C, about 77F). Right now...0 because it is at 25C. In the winter, add about +5 millivolts.

I run L16's and just leave mine at 25C.
Not sure if that is the right thing to do?
Do the same for the banks of rolls as well.
