I am wondering if the Classic will still be programmed to "learn" the optimal power curve of the wind?
I know this is something that was planned, but I know that it is something that presents technical difficulties. I am wondering what the latest status on this Classic feature is? Does it realistically look like it will be a reality with the Classic?
It will definitely be a reality in the Classic. I am not sure where it is in boB's priority list but it is very high I do know that.
Any idea how the learning function would work when stacking two Classics?
For my wind turbine, I'm thinking that I might need more power handling capability than any single Classic might be able to handle. In it's current form, I've seen 65A (3.5kW) out of my HY-2000 wind turbine during strong gusts. The MPPT should add efficiency and increase power output to some degree, so I'd have to be able to handle the extra power.
I read about how you (Ryan) stacked 2 Classics on a wind turbines, but I wonder how the learning function would work in that case.

Now, that's a great question !! I don't anticipate too much difficulty on this though as units will be communicating and know what the others are doing.
The communications speed need from master to slaves is not that bad for wind, so it should be a "breeze" !!!
I must be tired and getting silly. good nite. Tomorrow is another week.
boB
Question is Ryans 2 stacked classics homemade deversion talking now on the 17 foot wind turbine or are the not talking and both are masters must be getting tired Im a Master Electricain with no job but trying Mike
