I have two MidNite Solar MNEDC breakers. An 80 amp for the PV coming in. And a 100 amp for the charge lead going from the CC to the Battery bank.
Both of the MNEDC breakers have printed on them. Line on the Top ... and Load on the bottom.
I assume the wire coming IN from the PV Array is Line, and it goes out of the 80 amp breaker to the CC as the Load side of this breaker.
Then coming of out of the CC, Again I assume the Battery + wire out of the controller would go into the Line (top) of the Breaker and the Load would follow on thru to the Battery. Does this seem correct?
Is the Battery + side of the Classic 150 the line or the load??
Attached is a diagram of what I mean.
Here is where it gets confusing to me. The Classic Owners Manual show just the opposite for the breaker between the Battery and the CC. The diagram in the Manual has both Red leads of the CC coming off the bottom (load) side of both breakers.

Which is correct? When I called Midnite they did not really give an answer, simply said that with those breakers they are specific to line side and load side. And you must connect the Line side to Line and the Load side to Load.
The polarity issue of those breakers has been asked and discussed in other posts.
The MNEDC breakers that have the studs on them you can wire up either way - there is no polarity on them even though the label says Line and Load . Same thing with the big inverter breaker.
The din rail mount breakers with the screw clamps are polarity sensitive though and those have a + marking at the bottom of them.

Thanks Larry. Is the lead coming off the CC, would that be considered a Line ... or a Load?

Are those breakers AC or DC. I have the din rail ones too for my AC Loads ... but they are AC not DC. Does the Plus Marking indicate Line or Load?

I like to use this wiring diagram from the Midnite Mini DC Disconnect box
You can just ignore the two breakers shown for the ground fault device ( 63 and 5 amp side by side )
So for your question on the din rail breakers it shows them with the + being at bottom and that is where the battery and the PV would go. But for the other type DC breakers with the studs it wouldn't matter which stud you wired them to - no polarity .

OK so that clears up the DC side, but what about the AC side. I have both and AC out and an AC in to and from my inverter. Again the wiring diagram that Came with the MidNite Solar E-Panel for the Schneider Inverter has both the AC in and the AC out going to the top of the Breakers (they are both double pole 30 amp MNEAC 30-2P). Can this be right? I have them wired that way now, it is working, and it does disconnect things. But It may have no protection. :( I called Midnite a few weeks ago and I think I recall them telling me that the AC does not matter.

Your posted diagram is the opposite of what i have for DC ... but from the link you posted, it does not matter correct?
In regards to the AC - I have not used those types of Midnite AC breakers but if you look at the spec sheet carefully it tells which types of breakers are polarity sensitive.

And if you called Midnite and asked them and they said they were not polarity sensitive I would go with that advice as well.
For the DC it only matters which side of the breaker it goes to if it is the Din rail type.
