Title: bulk, absorb, float question
Post by: arby on October 30, 2017, 07:03:15 PM
Can't find it anywhere but I was under the impression that the CC will only stay in absorb as long as it took to get to absorb voltage. Is this true regardless of end amp settings and absorb time settings? Just wondering what my Classic 200 is doing when I'm not there in the winter.
Thanks, arby

It is an either / or statement, whichever value is reached first.  ;)

It goes from Bulk all available amps , then when it gets to Absorb volt setpoint it holds absorb voltage and lowers the amps to maintain absorb volts . It will stay in absorb until Absorb Time . If Ending amps is set it will stay in Absorb until End amps is reached - unless absorb time runs out first. After Absorb is done it goes to Float.

Thats what the PT-100 (from a different mfg) does.
Midnight Classic is Absorb by a pre-set timer, or end amps triggered from WBJr
