Title: Aux: Ideas? Need more settings :)
Post by: binkino on November 02, 2017, 10:40:49 AM
me again :D

Need an idea ...

I would need 2 "low bat disconnect" and one for the "vent fan"
but the Aux 2 has not such a setting.

On Classic 1
Aux 1 = Vent Fan
Aux 2 = WBJr.

On Classic 2
Aux 1 = Low Bat Disconnect (big relay, grid to inverter)
Aux 2 = ?

1 "low bat disc." is for that big relay
1 "low bat disc." I need for the wall plug for my e-car, if the battery is too low, I want it charges from grid
1 is for the "vent fan"

Or how can I use another setting on Aux2 that replaces the "Vent Fan"? (switch on at 52 volts untill it is lower then 52 volts)

Yeah, that's a good question !

Sounds kind of like Raspberri Pi territory maybe.

Just think of all the Aux outputs you could have with a little extra computer with some I/O handy !

Problem is that the two voltages are different for LB Disconnect and higher voltage vent fan.

Maybe use some kind of voltage triggered relay for the vent fan and then Aux 1 for LBD ?

You can look at the PWM signal on AUX 2 DIVERSION.  It is based on battery voltage and separate settings from LOW BATTERY DISCONNECT.

Another option is to modify the "Logging.php"  program to trigger a GPIO pin on the Pi.
