Title: BETA release of New KID installer !!!
Post by: KyleM on March 30, 2018, 02:43:05 PM
The long awaited KID Installer has arrived. ( See attached)

It is a very simple process and is as close to a one button click as possible.
Unzip the file and extract both files to the same directory.
Double click on the .EXE file and then plug in your KID.
Set the KID to Firmware update.
Wait for the update to finish then close the window.

That should be it.

There will be microsoft warnings that will need to be bypassed.
If there are any questions or you find any bugs please let us know.

So far it works on all Windows platforms from XP to Windows 10.

Thanks,
Kyle M

Thanks for the link to the thread.  I'll check it out and see if I can locate instructions to load it's drivers for win 8.1, as the win 7 instructions are not applicable to the 8.1 driver scheme.

We have discovered that the new installer does not seem to like 32 bit operating systems.

We are working on a solution.
