Title: PC Mode data stream question..
Post by: ricardo on June 22, 2018, 09:53:54 PM
My KID puts out 10 fields for each data stream packet

example:

272,668,46,15,550,218,2,100,223,39,

The first 9 are documented in the KID users guide .. and i think i saw a post by Mario that said that the 10th field is a controller status field.

I was wondering if someone has a list of what each status value means (or if i'm wrong what is the 10th data field)

I suppose you could look at the display of the Kid and see what number it is spitting out to figure out some of them .
You could force float , absorb, equalize , etc  to speed up the discovery and verify the changes.

We could assume that 10th number is "Last Reason for Resting" code. Those codes for Classic can be found here (http://midniteftp.com/forum/index.php?topic=3939.0) and here (http://midniteftp.com/forum/index.php?topic=2034.0). But I've already seen unusual codes alike 39 and 70, so I suppose these are either KID specific or the number means something else.
Any ideas?

Well, yes. That's the idea of communication. :)
