Does it matter which Classic is the master in follow me configuration?
I have 3x Classic and would like/need the middle one (#2) to be the master with temp sensor.
Thanks,
Erik
Erik, I seem to remember boB saying that it does not matter which one is designated the Master, just choose one to start the daisy ring working.
Eric
Eric is correct. Doesn't matter who the master is.
For the battery temp sensor, just make sure the classic it is plugged in to is selected to be the master of temp sense then that Classic will send it's data around and the other Classics will follow its value.

Thanks guys,
That what I was thinking.
It's the third upgrade on this system, so I added one to left and now I'm planning to add one to the right.
Bob, do you know the ampacity of a Magnum Panel (3x inverters) shunt bus plate. Magnum has 3 different sizes of shunt bus plate for two, three, and four inverters.
I guess it's a 500A for dual inverters, 750A for three, and 1000A with four inverters panel.
I would need to use a three inverters panel (MPSH) shunt bus to mount 4x inverters. I'm pretty sure that this shunt bus is rated at least for 750A (3x 250A MS4024PAE) and so I could use it to mount x4 inverters (4x 175A MS4448PAE). Of course, I plan to add a single Magnum panel for this fourth inverter only with its own 175A disconnect and AC breakers but would need to use the 3x inverters MPSH shunt bus for battery monitoring and bypass (same as four inverters => 125A).
Thanks,
Erik
