I apologize, I lost the trace ... had not really much time, much time is gone again - somewhere it was answered, but can't find it
If I want to use AUX2 for input (closing the 2 terminals of Aux2 with relay) what setting must been done?
Many thanks! ;)
You won't find it in the Local App, We, unfortunately, have not kept that up with current production firmware.
On the MNGP you will find Logic input 2 and Logic input 1
Logic input 2 forces resting when the terminals are less than 2 volts (Shorted) and allow charging when the terminals are above 6v
Logic input 1 forces resting when the terminals are above 6 volts and resumes charging when they drop to 2v or less
My memory is a little foggy, I recall one of these states needs an external pull up or pull down resistor and the other state has it buit in. Jim from tech support had this documented and I will work to find that and post it
So logic input 2 forces resting when voltage is 2 v or less and does NOT have a pull up resistor internally, So if using a relay to close the Aux terminals for Logic input 2 you will need to provide a pull up resistor to bring the voltage on Aux2 + above 6v when the relay is open. If you need any help with that please reach out to our support dept at support@midnitesolar.com
Thanks ;)
ouh have I been so wrong now ... that's why I can't find it ... mh... ok ;)
(I would set a bet, but ok ;) )
On the Classic I want to use the AUX2 for input, I have no MNGP, this is a "lite" Classic
That will be an issue as I dont see the engineers adding any features to the local app, I will ask the tech support dept what your options are
There is a bit of Aux 2 info here:

Are there some news?
Yes, the LocalApp ... :D
Why is this treated so neglected ..... ;(
BUT there can be other ways to send settings to the Classic
Thanks to Wade, meanwhile I can change settings in my webbrowser, hidden behind my "LCARS" designed showing my PV datas.
That should be easy to add an option, for sending a setting to the Classic.
(but updating firmware again ... only if I really must haha)

thanks but doen't help me here (or I don't understand)
Temporarly I added a "logic function" in the website.
Just simple.
If power use is below 70 watts, the inverter is 100% on grid.
That's not the perfect way. For the moment now, it works for me.
With this new value in memory, I hope I can go further in my ideas.
