Title: classic 150 rest reason code 38?
Post by: ner0tic on March 31, 2020, 09:09:57 AM
The spec I have only lists rest reasons up to 35, I'm not sure what a 38 is.  I have blue banner skies and it says the panels are bringing in 112v currently and it was just bringin in some watts up until about 30min ago.  It's still early in the day for my real useful light, but I have just never seen this rest reason before.

Anyone encounter it or is my spec not up to date that I am referencing?

My android app has it defined as

"reasonsForResting_message_38">Other charging sources appear to be active."

thanks,  My backup generator was on at the time, but usually they work together.

I think you get that reason for resting when the battery voltage is higher than the absorb or float voltage. I used to see it on my lithium batteries when they reached their charge point - then until the loads would take the voltage down again it would have the code 38 reason for resting.

makes sense, I probably just never noticed before.  I did power cycle to classic and it had gone right back into rest then once the gen turned off I heard thw classic relay trip and it went into charging.
Thanks
