Title: Updating the Classic
Post by: asdex on June 13, 2021, 05:32:38 AM
Hi, im about to update my Classic from rev. 1849 to rev. 2193
After this is done do I do a "factory restore or quick start" or a "hardware version of the factory restore"?
Thanks,

Thanks,

You can either do the VMM or the Hardware jumper way. I have only had to do the jumper reset once long time ago - the VMM method otherwise works fine.
Save you settings with Local Status app before upgrade since it makes it easy to restore them after .

This seems to have worked successfully.
I have classic rev. 2193 and mngp rev.  2186.
Will this be correct? I though the revisions should match.
Thanks

as long as you updated both Classic and MNGP you are  okay - the Classic and mngp are always different numbers -
